Gameplay Tips from Our Class

Try to get money in the beginning when you have time. Hotels actually cost money. The game is not in real time. You can fast forward one hour by tapping on the clock if you are waiting for the bank, departure, passing the night, etc.

The easiest way to win (if that’s what you’re after) is to play the money game. Get as much money in the beginning as you can by borrowing or selling goods. Pay attention to which items are valuable in which locations.

Sleep in the street to save money. Possibly try to travel in the straightest line to cover the most amount of distance in the least amount of time. Stretch out your money as long as you can, but don’t be afraid of borrowing if you need to. Keep in mind, though, that borrowing money from the bank comes out of your winnings at the end (if you do win).

Don't plan that you'll be able to go straight across without any hiccups, because inevitably, something will throw a wrench in that plan. Keep Fogg alive, but try to make Passepartout adventurous; it's much more fun to play that way. Focusing on winning is one way to play the game, but don't let that stray you from venturing out into different experiences!
