Overweight/Short Stature
Parzival is the protagonist throughout the novel as he is the number one gunter. Parzival's father died of a gun shot while looting a store and his mother died of a drug overdose. Being an orphan without many family or friends led him to surrounding himself in the likings of the OASIS' creator, Halliday. 1980's videogames, music, and movies became his hobbies, also. The obsessive studying of Halliday's hobbies led Parzival to find the first Copper Key, truly commencing the hunt five years after Halliday's death.
Tall and thin
Halliday was an isolated man who is the Anorak of the Oasis and the Easter Egg hunt which was released directly after his death. Halliday left behind Anorak's Almanac, his journal that would lead the gunters to study on subjects they would need to uncover the egg. Halliday left his entire inheritance and total power of the Oasis in the hands of the one who would retrieve his egg because he knew this person would hold the same values and knowledge as he did. He was looking for a Mini-Halliday to continue his legacy. To ensure this, he programmed his avatar Anorak to live in the OASIS after his death in effort to keep his ideals around.

Taller than Shoto
Daito is a Japanese gunter who was first seen as quiet and reserved but as he met Parzival, a friendship bloomed. Daito also served as a brother figure to Shoto, even though they never met in person. Daito was murdered (in real life) by IOI soldiers
